Congratulations!! DAVID MOORE selected as Finalist in the John Leslie Art Prize 2012

Congratulations to DAVID MOORE on his selection as a Finalist in the prestigious John Leslie Art Prize 2012. The John Leslie Art Prize is one of Australia’s most prestigious prizes for landscape painting, and is open to all artists living and working in Australia. David is one of only 35 finalists selected from 270 entries. The winners of all award categories will be announced at the official opening on Friday 28 September at 6.00pm. This years judges are Sam Leach - Artist, 2010 Archibald and Wynne Prize Winner Merle Hathaway – Arts Administrator, former Director of the Horsham Regional Art Gallery and currently Arts Officer Golden Plains Shire Gabriella Costivich – The Age art critic and writer, also now writing for Epicure The non-acquisitive Prize is generously sponsored by John Leslie OBE, Patron of the Gippsland Art Gallery.
