Jamie Boys Biography
Born in 1972, Jamie Boys completed a Diploma of Arts (Visual Arts) at RMIT in 2000 and then went on to complete a Bachelor of Fine Arts, majoring in Painting at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2003. In 2002, he spent 5 months at the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in Canada on a study exchange.
As a Painter, Boys has exhibited regularly since 1999. His work was chosen for inclusion in ‘Off the wall’, a showcase of emerging artists at Art Melbourne ’07, and he has twice been selected as a prize-winner in the Linden Postcard Show.
He currently lives and works in Melbourne.
