With an illustrious career as an exhibiting artist spanning 55 years Anne Marie Graham brings to Chrysalis a dedication, experience and masterly technique that confounds all pre-conceptions and attempts to categorize her style. 

Anne Marie Graham arrived in Melbourne as a young émigré from a Europe on the brink of war. As a child in Vienna Graham had been taught by the influential art teacher Professor Czizek. Formative influences include the works of the Flemish painter Breughel and the dream like visions of medieval illuminated illustrations; in Australia one of her tutors was George Bell -  now renowned as Australia’s leading early modernist teacher.
